Consumer Whore is a shopping blog that showcases one cool thing to buy every weekday. Tired of all of those shopping and design blogs that only feature exorbitantly priced items that may not even be available to the public yet? Yeah, so are we. CW takes pride in featuring items that can actually be purchased the moment you read about them.
If the Internet was one big city, CW would be the weird shop in the alley that you’re afraid to enter. Want your big box store? Too bad.
But if you want the cool place where you take your out-of-town friends to show them how interesting you are, then you are in the right place.
Just don’t mind the strange employees.
How CW selects it’s items
A combination of reader submissions, RSS feeds, Technorati and Google Alerts, mixed with some dumb luck is how 95% of the items make it here.
While some of the items feature may be “affiliate links”, the items are always chosen on their “coolness” factor first. Affiliate links are only inserted after the post has been written (if an affiliate link even exists).
